The theory of Gender offered in the book is entirely grounded on the definition of civilization: Civilization is the survival of the weak. Hence, violence is part of the love act and eros is an alternative of violence in civilization. In nature, from the positive feedback between violence and reproduction the difference in testosterone in the individuals of some species increased.

The individuals with higher testosterone acquired the male characteristics, and respectively the individuals with lower testosterone acquired the female characteristics. Inversely, in civilization from the positive feedback between non-violence and reproduction, the man (the male) decreases the level of testosterone; opposite - the woman (the female) increases the level of testosterone. So the first gender came to people, the homosexual.
